Euronat is about one hour's drive north from Bordeaux situated in the Gironde district of the Aquitaine region of France, it is located towards the top of the Gironde peninsular with its own private beach, the vineyards and Chateaux's of the Medoc region famous for its Bordeaux Red Wines are with easy reach. Bordeaux, a previous winner of the 'City of Culture' title is the capital of the region, and is well worth a visit for lovers of magnificently preserved 18th century architecture, as well as its many museums, shows, exhibitions and festivals. Within the Aquitaine region there are a host of opportunities for sight-seers : the village of Saint-Emilion, the resort of Arcachon and its Bay, Lacanau and its surfing contests, the Pilat and its dune, are but a few examples of what Aquitaine has to offer.

Locally the pretty seaside town of Soulac-sur-Mer(about 5miles north)with its shops, sea-front and beach, covered market and cafes is a pleasant place to visit, and Montelivet with its famous Sunday tourist market (every day during the main holiday period), cafes, restaurants and sandy beach is always popular. About 5 miles inland is the village of St.Vivien with a comprehensive commercial & food market every Wednesday morning.
